Beginning with a short presentation of Kenya’s experience with DPI, this session provided an opportunity for RFF attendees to consider both the potential and the risks of these systems, participate in an interactive workshop to help build a DPI safeguards framework, and hear from one of the people behind Brazil’s national payments system, Pix, about the importance of designing user-centric DPI.
